The Snake Creek Gap Time Trial Series is a 2 race Mtn Bike time trial held each winter on the challenging Pinhoti Trail south of Dalton, GA. NWGA SORBA began “The Snake” in 2005 and 2023 will be the 19th consecutive year. Details of the event are as follows:
Dates for 2023: February 4th and March 11th
Race distances: 50 mile, 34 mile or 17 mile
Fee schedule: (One fee covers both races)
Non-Money Class – $115 – November 27, 2022 – December 24, 2022
Non-Money Class – $125 – December 25, 2022 – January 29, 2023
Non-Money Class – $135 – January 30, 2023
Money Class – $185
17 Milers – $85
Juniors - $85
Note: This is a point-to-point race. Shuttles are provided from the Trade Center to the start line for $10 each race.
