Many of you may have heard that the Cohutta Wilderness and the Pinhoti have been hit really hard by the storm on Tuesday. We are planning a workday on Aug 10th at Dennis Mill TH. We need certified sawyers and anyone else to help!

Plans for Saturday:

• Meet at Dollar General at Highway 76 and old 411 at 8 AM.

• Drop Kevin, Jorge, Achilles truck or trucks at Dennis Mill trailhead.

• Gennie, Heath and I will drive vehicles up Peeples Lake Road to the gate.

• Brush Mow and clear trees down to the creek and drop the brush mower.

• Gennie will drive her truck in.

• Continue clearing trees until we get to the single track.

• Eat lunch.

• Kevin, Jorge and Achilles take their bikes down single track clearing trees to Dennis Mill trailhead.

• Gennie and I will drive back out and mow the field.

• Heath will turn around at some point and brush mow back to the gate. He has to leave early
